Colombia is a country with a mountainous topography, which increases the challenge of bringing telecommunications to every corner of its territory. The main challenge for the government will be to energize the telecommunications sector.
Tempel Group has participated since 2014 in a very challenging project supplying lithium batteries to one of the most important telecommunications operators in the region with presence in Colombia, Peru and Ecuador, which has one of the most extensive fiber optic and wireless networks with greater capillarity, with more than 300 NODES, covering much of the Colombian territory, reaching populations of difficult access. Allowing to connect in a secure and private way the headquarters and data centers, transmitting information, voice and video between them in an integral way.
For this project we have implemented Narada 12NDT200 and 12HTB150 lithium batteries, ideal for extreme environments. These batteries have a long life and do not require maintenance, which avoids logistic costs for the project.
With these batteries in high demand due to their ease of installation and maintenance, reliability is assured with the patented pole seal and design developed to meet the latest IEC, British and Telcordia standards, a centralized ventilation system adds to the suitability and flexibility of this product range.
